azadeh nikoo

Azadeh Nikoo, an Iranian artist born in 1973 in Tehran, is a member of the Iranian Painters Association. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and a Master’s degree in Art Studies. Since 1996, she has been actively engaged in creating visual artworks and participating in solo and group exhibitions. Additionally, she has taught theoretical and practical subjects related to visual arts in educational institutions, higher education centers, art high schools in Tehran, and her private gallery. Her works, including paintings, drawings, and sculptures, are primarily inspired by abstract and symbolic forms, with a strong emphasis on lines. Azadeh is also a poet, and her collection of poems has been published under the title On the Wings of a Rhinoceros. The atmosphere of her poetry, as well as her personal interpretations from independent studies—particularly in the fields of mythology and psychology—are notably reflected in her visual artworks. One of her selected pieces from the Iranian Painters Association has been featured on the International Action Art website, affiliated with UNESCO, showcasing her recognition at an international level.
