Shanly Momeni 4845

My name is Shanly Momeni. I adore Contemporary Art. It is a kind of art which gives us the opportunity to contemplate ourselves and our surrounding environment. In fact, it is the art which is deep-rooted in modern life and dynamics with all its aspects. I have been working on this mindset for the recent years and had some enlightenments regarding inner world as well as outer one. My paintings are the manifestation of what I have achieved during these “aha” moments (in this path). I try to invigorate my beliefs about daily life and present them as a painting to art-lovers.
Being a contemporary painter is very interesting. In order to paint my works I use acrylic on canvas, I tried to keep the balance between the visual and abstract art in my paintings. Acrylic dries up too fast and lets me do the work faster.
Sometimes the majority of my paintings look difficult to understand, I have some easy to understand ones as well, which somehow surprises the audience making him think if he had lost something in comprehending the painting or not. This may highlight the contemporary aspect of the painting.
In my paintings each visual elements conveys a symbolic story which a person can interpret based on his own guess tossing it into his own daily life. Utilizing symbolic literature can leave the audience with an unforgettable experience since it makes him get to the meaning with his intuition and cognition. (Maybe, I do not like them to pass by my paintings very fast)
