Sina Naziri
Sina Naziri, a contemporary Iranian painter, was born in Tehran in 1362. He started painting at the Tehran Academy of Fine Arts as a teenager and continued his higher education until the master's degree in painting. Similar works move on the border between reality, fantasy, personal expression and conceptual narratives and create works that have a visual narrative and a deep conceptual load. His works are such that the elements and space are defamiliarized and face a metaphysical space, and the elements together with each other achieve a different meaning and concept. The main focus of the artist is on the representation of human inner states, concepts of power, identity, game, thinking and thought in contrast with feeling. Similar works often bring the audience into a space where reality and fantasy are interwoven and the image is not just a visual representation but a thoughtful and emotional and mental experience at the same time. The main and recurring element in similar works is chess pieces and checkerboards, which are also symbols of thought, power and thoughtful play, which, along with space and emotional elements, bring different meanings and concepts to the mind of the audience. In similar works, the image is an excuse to ask questions, questions that do not have clear answers and invite the audience to reflect and face personally. The artist's goal is to create works that go beyond visual beauty, works that engage the audience's mind and make them pause to create a lasting experience of .encountering the work and concept
