Ali Rezaa

Alireza, a painter and visual artist, was born in 1933 in Shemiranat, Tehran. From childhood, he was drawn to painting and, without any formal education, developed his art as a self-taught creator. He completed his studies at Jam, Shapur, and Darolfonoon high schools, and later earned master’s degrees in History and Geography, Educational Sciences, and Sociology from the University of Tehran. He also held a First-Class Art Certificate. Nature and everyday life served as the main sources of inspiration for his works. Among his notable exhibitions are Green Gallery (1973), Seihoun Gallery (1980 and 2009), Ather Gallery (2003–2006), and Vista Gallery (2014). He passed away in May 2019.
