Ali Zakari, a painter born in 1959 in Zanjan, Iran, graduated from the Tehran High School of Fine Arts and pursued his university studies in painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Tehran, completing his master's degree at Tarbiat Modares University. He held his first solo exhibitions at the Talare Honar Gallery in Rasht and Gallerie Sabz in Tehran. His work spans painting and drawing, recognized for its expressionist approach to the human figure. Zakari has taught painting and design at several Iranian universities and his works have been shown in numerous domestic group exhibitions, international biennials, and art fairs, including the First Biennale of Iranian Painters, JingART in Beijing, Art Busan, Art Seoul, and EXPO Chicago.
