Babak Khodabandeh is a painter born in 1974 in Tabriz. He studied at Mirak Fine Arts High School in Tabriz and received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Painting from Islamic Azad University. Khodabandeh has awards such as the Certificate of Honor and the Golden Brush Statue from the Fourth Iranian Painters Biennial (1997, Museum of Contemporary Art), and the Diploma of Honor from the Sixth Contemporary Designers Exhibition (Barg Gallery, 2003) in his record. His works have been exhibited in solo shows at East Gallery (2011), Elaheh Gallery (2004), and Afarinesh Gallery (1997).
