Dana Nehdaran (born 1982, Isfahan) is a contemporary Iranian painter. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Painting from Soore University in Shiraz and began her professional career in 2007, creating paintings for television series sets. Since 2007, Nehdaran has exhibited her works in solo and group exhibitions in Iran, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, and Europe. Her work moves between representation and abstraction, addressing themes such as collective memory, walls, and materiality. Nehdaran has received numerous awards in design, painting, and photography, including the Special Prize in the Hafezieh Competition in Shiraz and the Special Prize in Iranian New Year Photography in Isfahan. She was also selected as a finalist in the MoP CAP list in Dubai. Her works are held in museums such as the Museum of Contemporary Art in Isfahan, the DD Cultural Center in Mazandaran, and the Salsali Private Museum in Dubai. Nehdaran’s works have been featured in major solo and group exhibitions at galleries including Shirin, Nar, Rira, Educartsy, and Canvas, as well as in prestigious auctions such as Tehran Auction, Bonhams, Sotheby’s, and Magic of Pars.
