Davar Yousefi is a painter born in 1963 in Ardabil. After receiving his diploma, he turned to painting and later received a master's degree in painting from Islamic Azad University. Yousefi has also worked as an art instructor at Soura, Al-Zahra, and Islamic Azad Universities. Continuing his professional painting path, Davar Yousefi held his first solo exhibition of his works at Aria Gallery in 1994. Yousefi is known for creating works with ancient symbols and ancient reliefs. He avoids mass-oriented and moves more towards his mythological expression. Primitive man and animal motifs are constantly visible in his works.
