Donya Fazelnia

Donya Fazelnia

Donya Fazelnia was born on July 23, 1995 in Tehran, Iran. Sculpture has shaped her artistic path, and she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sculpture from the University of Art in Tehran (2014–2019). Since 2019, she has been a member of the Iranian Sculptors Association, continually expanding her presence in the art scene. Her works have been showcased in various international events, including the Human Rights Art Festival in North Dakota (2023) and NOXTE lll-KUNSTQUARTIERS BETHANIEN STUDIO 1 in Berlin, Germany (2019). Prestigious galleries in Tehran, such as Shirin Gallery and Aaran, have also hosted her art. Using a diverse range of materials—from metal and cement to resin and ceramics—Fazelnia explores profound concepts such as identity, parallel realities, and the boundary between reality and illusion. Pieces like “Lack of Motivation” and “Fragile” challenge the invisible constraints imposed by society. In addition to her artistic pursuits, she merges her passion for education with creativity and freedom of expression. She envisions a future where art transcends all limitations, allowing her imagination to manifest freely across various forms, unbound by traditional categorizations.
