Hassan Hazer Moshar

Hassan Hazer Moshar, a self-taught artist, was born in 1923 in Rasht, Iran. He began painting and creating sculptures at the age of 70. Hazer Moshar was discovered by Kambiz Derambakhsh and was introduced to the art community in the early 2000s, with his works exhibited at Golestan Gallery. Since then, his works have been shown in various exhibitions, including at Outsiderin Gallery, Saleh Gallery, the Iranian Artists Forum, Laleh Gallery, the Museum of Fine Arts at Sa’dabad Palace, and Tarahane Azad. Animals and nature were among the main themes of Hazer Moshar’s artwork. He passed away in 2014 at the age of 91.
