Hossein Mojeni, a painter, was born in 1951 in Tehran. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Painting from the College of Decorative Arts (now the University of Art) and began his professional career in 1976 by participating in a group exhibition at Tehran Gallery. Throughout his career, Mojeni has taken part in numerous group exhibitions and has held solo exhibitions in collaboration with galleries such as Etemad, Dena, Goyeh, and Diaylaman. More than five decades of continuous practice have established him as a prolific and consistent figure in the field of painting. Mojeni emphasizes the freedom of the artist and avoids dependence on collective artistic movements, considering solitude a necessary condition for deepening artistic experience.
