hossein shirahmadi

Hossein Shirahmadi was born in 1988 in Karaj. He is a figurative painter and illustrator and has also been teaching design for several years. In 2005, he received his high school diploma in painting from the Karaj School of Fine Arts, and in 2011 he completed his undergraduate studies in graphic design at Nabi Akram University in Tabriz. Since 2020, he has presented his works in numerous group exhibitions and has also curated several shows. By 2025, he had held two solo exhibitions at the galleries “Bashgah” and “In/Ja.” Shirahmadi’s works feature distinct forms of human and animal figures, as well as floral motifs. These three subjects are presented through a personal narrative and, at times, alongside handwritten notes by the artist, highlighting the possibilities and expressive qualities of each of the three motifs for the viewer.
