
Jamaleddin Tabasinejad, a painter, was born in 1954 in Kermanshah and is originally from Tabas. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Insurance Economics from Allameh Tabataba’i University, a degree in Fine Arts from Bossier Parish College in the United States, and an honorary Doctorate in Visual Arts from the Iranian Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. Tabasinejad’s works often feature Iranian themes, particularly traditional architecture. His practice includes painting, sculpture, and working with diverse materials such as clay, metal, and wood. He is also skilled in the restoration and reconstruction of historical artworks. His first solo exhibition was held in 1991 at Sheikh Gallery, and in 2001 he presented an exhibition titled “A Bouquet as a Gift to the World” at the Reza Abbasi Museum, focusing on Iran’s historical architecture.
