Kamal Tabatabaie

Kamal Tabatabaei is an illustrator born in Tehran in 1969. He has participated in and judged numerous domestic and international festivals, including being a member of the selection committee for the 6th Tehran Illustration Biennial, and is the art director and graphic designer of Soroush Children's Publication. He has illustrated more than 40 books. He held his solo illustration exhibition in 2005 at the Tararan Azad Gallery, in 2013 at the Haft Samar Gallery, and in 2014 at the Tararan Azad Gallery. Tabatabaei was selected for the Bologna Book Illustration Exhibition in 2013 and has participated in three editions of the Bratislava Illustration Exhibition.
