
Kamran Sharif (b. 1978, Tabriz) is an Iranian sculptor. He graduated from Mirak School of Visual Arts in Tabriz before relocating to Tehran. Sharif’s works have been presented in numerous group exhibitions across Iran, the United States, and France. He held his first solo exhibition in 2002 at Seyhoun Gallery, Tehran, and has since collaborated with galleries including Galerie Seine Douze (Paris), Momayez Gallery, Etemad Gallery, Assar Gallery, Seyhoun Gallery (Los Angeles), and Hamzianpour & Kia Gallery (Los Angeles). Sharif has received honorary diplomas from the 3rd and 4th Tehran Sculpture Biennials and has participated in major international art fairs such as Art Basel, Abu Dhabi Art, Contemporary Istanbul, and Art Dubai. His works are held in the permanent collections of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) and the Museum Fünf Kontinente in Munich, Germany.
