Keyvan Beiranvand, a sculptor, was born in 1980 in Khorramabad. He was trained in the school of Parviz Tanavoli and completed his education with a master’s degree in painting. Beiranvand is a member of the Iranian Sculptors Association. His professional background includes serving as a juror for the sculpture section (recycled and wire sculpture) of the 18th National Festival of Visual Arts in July 2007, executing several urban sculpture projects, and participating in multiple sculpture symposiums. His works have also been presented in more than twenty group exhibitions. Beiranvand’s works narrate the shared life of humanity and the burden that destiny has placed upon each individual. His sculptures are primarily made of bronze, and a number of them, in earlier series, depict animals and mythological symbols.
