Leila Farokhi

Leila Farokhi

Leila Farrokhi (b. 1980, Tabriz, Iran) is an Iranian painter. She received both her B.A. and M.A. in Painting from the University of Tehran. Farrokhi held her first solo exhibition in 2007 at Haft Ayeneh Gallery in Sari, followed by two additional solo exhibitions in collaboration with the same gallery. Her works have been presented in numerous exhibitions and events, including Tehran Art Fair, Art Expo, the 7th National Biennial of Contemporary Iranian Painting, the Fajr International Festival of Visual Arts, the National Youth Art Festival, the Shar Conceptual Art Festival, the Woo Art Festival, and exhibitions organized by the Iranian Painters Association at the Iranian Artists Forum. She is the recipient of several awards, including First Prize, Woo Art Female Artist Award (2018) and Second Prize at the 5th National Imam Reza Visual Arts Festival (2008).
