Majid Hojati - Maho

Majid Hojjati, known by his artistic name “Mahoo,” is a photographer born in 1985 in Isfahan. He holds a master’s degree in Photography and began his artistic career in 2000. Hojjati has received numerous awards in prestigious national and international photography competitions and festivals, including First Place in the Professional Landscape category at the Sony World Photography Awards in 2021, First Place at the Focus Albania International Photography Awards in 2022, the top award in the Environmental Landscape category at the Pictures of the Year (POY) competition in 2022, and First Place in the Portrait category of the same competition in 2025. He has also been selected for the Image of the Year for four editions and has received more than 300 titles, rankings, and awards at national and international photography festivals. His works have been exhibited in Iran as well as France, the United Kingdom, the United States, Belgium, Hong Kong, Azerbaijan, and Armenia.
