**Malek Dadyar Garousian**, a sculptor, was born in 1959 in Tehran. He holds a B.A. in Sculpture from the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Tehran. Garousian has received the First-Grade Artistic Certificate and the Medal of Distinguished Figures in Visual Arts from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. He is a member of the Iranian Painters Association, the Iranian Academy of Arts, and the Iranian Sculptors Association. His works have been presented in numerous exhibitions, including the exhibition at the Central Library of the University of Tehran (1985), the First Group Exhibition of Iranian Sculptors at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art (1989), Sureh Gallery (1992), Iran Art Gallery (1993), Seyhoun Gallery (1993), the First and Third Iranian Contemporary Sculpture Biennials (1995–2002), the Second Iranian Ceramists Biennial (1996), Barg Gallery (2002), and the Iran Artists Forum (2004). In 1995, he received First Prize at the First Iranian Contemporary Sculpture Biennial.
