Mohammadreza Baharnaz

Mohammad Reza Baharnaz, a photographer, was born in Tehran in 1933. He holds a first-class artistic certificate in ethnographic photography from the Artists Evaluation Council and began her professional career in 1979, during which time she has won numerous domestic and international awards. Among his most important honors are the first prize in the UNESCO photo competition in 1988, the gold medal in the Asahi Shimbun photo competition in Japan (1991, 1992, and 1993), the special prize from the 6th Young Cinema Festival, and the second prize in the 5th annual exhibition of the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art. His works have been published in books such as "Eternal Travelers of Mountains and Plains," "Nomads of Iran," "Album Koch," and "Nomads in Pace with Swallows." These collections depict various aspects of nomad life and culture in an artistic and documentary manner.
