Mojtaba Tabatabaei (b. 1966, Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian painter. He received his B.A. in Painting from the Art University of Tehran and began his professional career in the early 1990s. His work focuses on figurative painting and social themes. Tabatabaei held his first solo exhibition in 2002 at Elaheh Gallery, Tehran. Since then, he has presented numerous solo exhibitions at various galleries, including Tarrahan-e Azad Gallery and Etemad Gallery. His works have also been exhibited at major events including the Tehran Painting Biennial, three editions of the Bratislava Illustration Biennial (BIB), and Asia NOW Art Fair in Paris.
