Morteza Yazdani Dinani, a painter, was born in 1980 in Isfahan, Iran. He holds a master’s degree in painting from the University of Tehran and is a full member of the Iranian Association of Painters and Illustrators. He held his first solo exhibition in 2006 at Sheeth Gallery. Following that, he continued his exhibition activities at Homa, Shirin, and Mah galleries. Yazdani has also participated in more than 20 group exhibitions. Morteza Yazdani is known for his meticulous paintings of plants. In his works, a tendency to depict maps also frequently appears—an aspect reminiscent of scientific books. In this piece, Yazdani combines his multiple interests to present a work that not only demonstrates his fascination with maps and trees but also, through glimpses of everyday urban life, creates a dual space that is both urban and seemingly imbued with a mythical spirit.
