Nafiseh Emran (b. 1986) is a painter. She received her M.A. in Painting from Soore University, Tehran, in 2010. In her paintings, Emran places human and animal figures at the boundary between reality and imagination. By combining human figures, animal elements, and imaginative environments, she creates multilayered characters. Emran held her first solo exhibition in 2010 at Aun Gallery and subsequently worked with Vista and Homa galleries. Her works have also been presented in numerous group exhibitions in Iran and the UAE. In 2010, she received First Prize at the Damonfar Visual Arts Festival.
