Mohsen Fouladpour is a sculptor born in 1980 in Tehran. He began studying art at a young age and received his art diploma from Sooreh Art School in 1995. In 2001, he earned his bachelor’s degree in sculpture from the University of Art in Tehran, and from that year onward he entered the field of visual arts in a serious and professional way. His first official exhibition was at the 5th Iran House of Artists Sculpture Biennial in 2006, and since then he has continuously showcased his works in Iran and abroad. Fouladpour’s works are predominantly created with ceramic materials and reflect a fusion of Iranian myth, tradition, and primitive art, engaging with themes of social ethics, heroic morality, and cultural elements. He held his first solo exhibition in 2007 at Homa Gallery, and later collaborated with Mah, Sabz, Shirin, and Plus2 galleries, presenting his works in numerous group exhibitions across Iran, the United Kingdom, France, Georgia, the United Arab Emirates, and China. His monograph was published in 2021 by Khat-o-Tarh Publishing.
