statement A collection of herrings Fishes have been a symbol of life in all ancient legends and in the role of a savior.   My saviors, but from the dark side of my existence where the void of culture, mother tongue and my homeland had become a wound in my being when I was a tired and helpless immigrant, Najiana built a wall of love around me and became the light of my life in the most difficult days of immigration.   Why fish, you ask?  When I was a child, I used to go to the fish market with my mother and I would not return home until I was satisfied with the smell of the fish and the touch of their scales and eyes.  When I reached home, I was proud that the silver would be given to me along with my mother.  And in the end, eating it was not as enjoyable as I thought. Fishes have been the prince of my dreams ever since. Fishes are mine and I sometimes wear fishes to keep warm Sometimes I eat them so I don't starve Sometimes I myself become a fish and prey of life. I am Eastern Shabnam of Ahvaz 44 years old Born in Ahvaz I am a painter, illustrator and sculptor I immigrated to Türkiye in 2021 Graduated in painting I had 27 years of teaching and performance experience in my field, in illustration, I have apprenticed under Kamal Tabatabai, Ehsan Abdullahi, Khosrow Ansari and Zahra Nabee. About 5 years ago, I started illustration, which I loved for years.
