Reza Hosseini, a painter, was born in 1947 in Ahvaz. He is a graduate of the Atlanta College of Art in Georgia, USA. Hosseini has held numerous solo and group exhibitions inside and outside Iran, and has collaborated with galleries such as Aria, Elaheh, and Artibition. Hosseini’s recent works are abstract; however, earlier in his career he also produced figurative paintings. After passing through his figurative period, he turned to landscape painting, seeking to distort nature in his representations.
