sadegh adham

Sadegh Adham, a sculptor, was born in 1978 in Masjed Soleyman. He holds a bachelor’s degree in sculpture from the University of Tehran. Adham’s works reflect an architectural and mythological perspective. His paintings are primarily composed of ovals, cubes, circles, and squares—a geometric interest that is also evident in his sculptures. By simplifying and distilling forms, he blurs the boundary between figurative representation and abstraction. Many of his works convey a sense of history and primitivism. His artistic achievements include being selected for the Niavaran Sculpture Biennial in 2011 and winning first prize in design at the 7th, 8th, and 9th Khuzestan Visual Arts Biennials from 2005 to 2007, hosted by the Ahvaz and Abadan Museums of Contemporary Art.
