PAYMAN SAHRADY

At the beginning of any endeavor, lofty motivations arise: changing the world, collective awareness, reforming trends, and so on. However, after taking the first steps on the path, we quickly realize that not only are we unable to achieve such lofty goals alone, but gradually we become entangled in waves that relentlessly try to push us back. Thus, when it comes to artistic work, the result, at worst, becomes a mere representation, and at best, a striking blow. The artist must strive to make an impact, to scratch, to pull tight, to confine, and to create an effect that is akin to a sledgehammer; through lines and colors, resonance and thought. Therefore, the purpose is for art not to be liberating. Join me in exploring the intersection of art and design!
