Shakiba Parvaresh was born in 1980 in Tehran. She studied graphics at Azadegan Girls' Conservatory and received her diploma in graphics from Azad University. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees in painting from Soore University.

Shakiba Parvaresh has cooperated with many galleries, among which Shirin Gallery has cooperated the most. She held her first solo exhibition called "A Thousand and One Nights" in the same gallery. She has a history of cooperation with galleries such as Afrand, Homa, Azad, Boomerang, Atbin, Iranian Artists Forum and Leila Heller Gallery in New York.

In 1400, Shakiba Parvaresh was at Modern Contemporary ABU Dhabi Art fair in the United Arab Emirates on behalf of Shirin Gallery. Before that, she participated in Context Art Miami on behalf of the same gallery.

Shakiba's recent works are sculptures that are a combination of assemblage and painting. Regarding the initial idea of the "Raheen and Raheena" exhibition, she said that after studying Timurid miniature paintings, she tried to reflect its influence in the form of human relations, especially the relations between men and women, in here works. Shakiba Parvaresh explains about the process of making the works that in most of the them wood and rice sheet materials are used and most of the works includes cages. As a painter, she is reckless in using different materials and a combination of wood, metal, glass and mirror is evident in her works.
