Shamsedin Ghazi

Shamseddin Ghazi, a painter and sculptor, was born in 1983 in Shiraz. He holds an M.A. in Painting and a B.A. in Graphic Design from Soore University in Tehran. The artist held his first solo exhibition in 2008, presenting his works at Vesal Gallery in Shiraz. His works have been showcased in numerous exhibitions, as well as in art auctions and various international festivals across Iran, the United Kingdom, Italy, France, and the United States. In his sculptures, Ghazi is influenced by the history of metalworking in ancient and post-Islamic Iran. These include functional and decorative metal objects such as ewers, incense burners, kohl containers, and various types of locks, many of which are inspired by animal forms.
