Siamak Azmi is a painter born in 1972 in Kermanshah, Iran. He completed his studies in geology and began painting continuously in 1990. Since 1992, he has also been active as a teacher in various fields of visual arts. His first solo exhibition was held in 2001 at the Abbasi Hotel in Isfahan and the Hozeh Honari of the same city. To date, he has exhibited his works in cultural centers in various countries around the world. Azmi’s well-known works are mainly formed around popular animated characters and dolls, giving them a vivid and highly colorful visual language. However, a closer reading of his works reveals an underlying sense of compression and psychological confinement, creating a tension between playful imagery and deeper emotional intensity.
