The subject of Tabassom Taham’s paintings is Women. Women who were demonstrated as fashion stereotypes in the previous periods of the painters works, in this collection are a reflection of the Others demonstration that have been mostly stereotyped abroad in the form of "another". In such context, the image of women is always distorted by themselves and others. At the same time, the painter's works focus on exhibiting sites and reflective media in today's visual culture. The sites that represent or impose the images on the viewer in a rich or trivial spectrum and open the way for asking questions or criticizing the institutions and their supporters. Taham’s paintings are accomplished in the same context.
