Taher Rozmahsali

Taher Rouzmahsali, born in 1991, is one of the young contemporary painters of Iran. He pursued his university studies in painting and, at the master’s level, presented a research-based thesis on the transformation of form in postmodern painting and the influence of movements such as Pop Art and Hyperrealism. Rouzmahsali’s approach to painting is both research-driven and creative. Historical architecture, urban spaces, and cultural symbols feature prominently as the main visual elements in his works. By combining these elements, he creates imaginative yet realistic worlds that navigate between the past, present, and future. In these spaces, human presence is often minimal, reflecting the sense of disorientation experienced by the modern individual. Among his notable exhibitions is the series “That Probable Place”, which was showcased at the Designers’ Azad Gallery, highlighting his distinctive vision and conceptual depth
