Taher Pourheidari, a painter, was born in 1984 in Rafsanjan, Iran. He holds a Master’s degree in Painting from the University of Art, Tehran. Pourheidari’s work focuses on depicting Iranian cities, particularly Tehran, where trees and architectural elements convey the social atmosphere and reflect societal challenges. His first solo exhibition, “Nezam Abadi,” was held in 2011 at Homa Gallery. He was selected as a distinguished artist in the 5th Annual “Selected New Generation” exhibition and has participated in the Tir Art Fair. Pourheidari’s works have been repeatedly presented and sold at Tehran Auction House, Bonhams, Sotheby’s, and Jadou-ye Parsi.
