Tahmineh Sherafat

Tahmineh Sharafat (b. 1985, Tehran) is a photographer and conceptual artist. She holds a B.A. in Photography from the Faculty of Art and Architecture in Tehran. She began her professional artistic practice in 2011, and her works have been presented in several exhibitions in Iran, Italy, Canada, and other countries. Her practice takes a contemporary approach to the nature of the image, the instability of meaning, and the relationship between photography, philosophy, memory, and time.
