Vahid Mirzamohammadi

Vahid Mirza-Mohammadi, an Iranian painter born in 1965 in Tehran, holds a BA in English Literature from Shahid Beheshti University. He studied painting at the Zangar Atelier under the mentorship of Aydin Aghdashloo from 1985 to 1993. Mirza-Mohammadi has held four solo exhibitions at Seyhoun Gallery and participated in over 60 group exhibitions at prominent venues including Seyhoun, Golestan, Haft Sumar galleries, and the Museum of Contemporary Art. His works are primarily surreal, focusing on deep human and social themes, and predominantly executed in colored pencil, highlighting his technical skill. He has also received honors from the Museum of Contemporary Art and Niavaran Cultural Center.
