About the Artwork

These portraits emerge in the space between observation and recollection, where the presence of a live model meets the artist’s inner imagery. Beginning with direct encounters, the faces gradually move beyond physical likeness, becoming something more personal — an image suspended between what is seen and what remains in the mind. Each portrait is an attempt to capture a presence that, despite its intimacy, always keeps something of itself concealed.
