The In-between Space

About the Artwork

In the “in-between space,” everything is held in suspension— a place between seeing and unseeing, between matter and sensation, between what is and what might be. Here, the world is neither fully external nor entirely internal, but rests at a shared point between the two. In this space, reality exists only as a possibility, while imagination, on the threshold of emergence, reshapes the world anew. For me, looking at nature is much the same— a life lived on an unstable border between the poles of imagination and reality, constantly in dialogue and in conflict. It is there, in that unseen interval, that the “in-between space” takes form.
