About the Artwork

In these works, human figures inhabit a space between presence and constraint. Cubes become increasingly prominent, transforming the relationship between the body, space, and the boundaries that surround them. Figures and geometric forms create an unstable order, at times existing alongside one another and at others in quiet opposition. Neither fully resolved nor free from tension, this space suggests an ongoing struggle to find a place within an environment that both shapes and confines the individual.
