About the Artwork
The choice of wood is closely connected to the concept of the erosion of nature. However, I have tried to preserve it as much as possible in its natural state, close to its original form. The textures and traces left by branches and leaves on the surface of the wood bring a sense of untouched nature into the work. In depicting the rocks and natural elements, although I have used photographs as references, I have tried to maintain my own perspective and artistic interpretation. Since my artistic thinking is strongly figurative, traces of the human figure can also be seen in this work. This presence gives a human dimension to nature in the process of erosion, transforming it from a purely natural image into a more tangible and human experience.
