What They Created, They Worshipped

About the Artwork

In this merciless cycle of dependency, there was a man and a woman. They decided either to find an idol or to create one. They found a woman whom they deemed worthy of worship, and she became trapped in a prison built without hands, a place from which there was no escape. But this endless human need to create power was what took away the freedom of all three of them. A cycle that began with the need for a leader: they created an idol, gave her power, established her position, and eventually became dependent on her.
