Beyond That Tall Mountain -Trango tower
About the Artwork
Transcending the visual beauty derived from the colors and diversity of elements in the unique mountain landscapes to reach a personal understanding of beauty is not easy. However, accessing other dimensions of beauty, which I believe are etched in the shape, form, and texture of ancient mountains and bear a profound resemblance to the impact of suffering in human life, can only be achieved through a long life in the mountains. This repetition transforms the meaning of beauty. This collection features photographs of the first highest peak on Earth, Everest (the Nepal-China border), the second highest and most dangerous mountain in the world, K2 (the Pakistan-China border), as well as the fourth (Lhotse), sixth (Cho Oyu), and twelfth (Broad Peak) highest peaks in the world. Other images pertain to six and seven-thousand-meter peaks surrounding the highest mountains on Earth. This collection has been photographed over two years and continues to evolve."
