Contrasting light and shadow in forms and colors is always a priority for me. The use of inanimate objects, clay dishes and a handful of bread are symbols of the ancient land of Iran. Using summer fruits takes me to my father's garden in Iran, and the light falling on the napkin from the window reminds me of the hot summer.
