Biography


Amin Binshpazhoh was born in 1975 in Babol. He spent his childhood in his grandfather's carpentry workshop and his aunt's silk-weaving workshop in the village of Darunkola near Babol. One of his friends, Rahim Mulaeian, encouraged him to apply to study at the Higher Education Center of Cultural Heritage in Tehran. In 1997, Binshpazhoh was accepted into the field of handicrafts and began creating ceramic works under the supervision of Maghsood Pashaei in 1999.

After graduating, he continued to pursue pottery professionally, inspired by Peyman Sajadi. He taught the subject at both the Higher Education Center of Cultural Heritage and Babolsar Art University. In 2006, he relocated to Bushehr province and worked as a handicrafts expert and deputy of the cultural heritage office. For the past five years, he has been working at the Seyraf Archaeological Site.
