Bahare Khodae

Biography: I am a visual artist working primarily on contemporary ceramics art with a focus on installation. I’ve been working in the field of sculpture and ceramics art since 2015. Furthermore, I am an artist with a scientific background, I have a constant engagement with scientific concepts which have given me the potential to perceive artistic concepts from another perspective. In other words, chemistry is clearly the basis of glaze, and my main concentration is on contemporary ceramics art. For me, installation is one of the most conceptual art mediums because it enables me to express different layers of meaning. Installation provides more space for better communication between the audience and the artist, due to its interactive nature.
