

Hamideh Sobhanifard
Hess (Hamideh Sobhani Fard) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Qazvin, Iran, working across painting, drawing, and contemporary art practices, including video art and installation. Her practice operates at the intersection of multiple media, with a strong emphasis on conceptual approaches and critical perspectives. Her work engages with philosophical, humanity, social, and environmental concerns, examining these themes through an analytical and often critical lens. By employing contemporary visual language, Hess explores underlying layers of human experience and the complex relationships between individuals and the world around them. Inspired by current global events as well as philosophical, social, and cultural contexts, her practice responds to the conditions of the contemporary world, positioning art as a reflective and critical engagement with the present moment.

Hamideh Sobhani Fard is a multidisciplinary artist holding an MFA in Painting. Her artistic practice spans painting, drawing, illustration, and contemporary art approaches, including video art and interdisciplinary practices.
She has over ten years of experience teaching art courses at universities and more than fifteen years of independent teaching in drawing and painting.
