Keykhosro Khoroush, a painter and calligrapher, was born in 1941 in Tehran. He completed his undergraduate studies in painting between 1961 and 1966 at the Faculty of Fine Arts, where he studied under masters such as Mohammad Ali Heidarian. Afterward, he traveled to England and France, spending months in museums and collections studying art schools and painting techniques. Khoroush also learned the principles and rules of Nastaliq calligraphy under Hossein Mirkhani in the classes of the Iranian Calligraphers Association and received his Master’s certificate from the Association. In 2006, he was selected as a Senior Master of the Iranian Calligraphers Association, and in 2005, he was recognized as a Distinguished Figure in Art and Culture of Iran in the field of calligraphy. His years of dedication have resulted in the transcription of over 35 volumes of literary and artistic masterpieces.
