Doubt at the Final Station

About the Artwork

Here is the end of the road the place where the air suddenly grows heavy and I come to a halt. A voice in my head whispers: Choose! A woman stands beside me, her pearls stealing the loght from her face; the sound of her heels is at war with my steps. And this dog, innocently believing everything will soon be fine, unaware that something in the woman's gaze frightens me. In this inexplicable pause, the lines stitch everything to a single point, and I can't tell whether that point is a doorway to freedom or a fall.
