Iranian painting: rich in light
From the end of the 8th century A.H. When the period of Gorkan rule in Iran begins, one of the most brilliant periods of Iranian painting also begins. This period, which was named the Herat School due to the choice of Herat as the capital, witnessed the formation of the most exquisite examples of Iranian painting and the birth of some of the greatest painters such as Kamaleddin Behzad.
