From the middle of the 1370s, the paradigm of modernism changed and the flow of contemporary art began in Iran. The expansion of the activities of art-supporting organizations, the formation of specialized art associations and publications, and the advent of the era of communication and new mass communication tools caused Iranian artists to encounter contemporary art discourses and paradigms in international art scenes and to use diverse media in artistic expression.
